Coffee and Milk: The Basics. Barista 101 is Back!

Your education docket has increased yet again: get your first shot at becoming a barista! Or, brush up on that training you’ve already had. One of our trainers, the accomplished Frank, is offering another opportunity to learn both espresso and milk theory (yes, these are real things). We’re not all book learning here; participants will also be able to pull shots (barsita talk for brewing espresso) and steaming milk to an appropriate milk texture (barista talk for bubbles in the milk).

Frank will be holding class at the roastery, located inside the East End Brewing Company at 147 Julius St., PGH. It runs from 1:30-3:30 this coming Sunday, May 3rd, and all this coffee education will only cost you $20. Sign up fast; spots are limited.
