An email from Brazil?

I had two interesting emails this week:

The first from a gentleman in the area that our Brazilian coffee comes from:

“Your Web Site is so interesting that I decided to send this note. It was a pleasure to notice the reference to the coffee of my Home-Town : Monte Carmelo. For more than 40 years I worked as an Economist in a well known Institution in Rio de Janeiro. After retairyng [sic] I returned to Monte Carmelo and in association with my son we entered in the coffee business. Our first preocupatio [sic] is with the quality of our product.

Please, can you tell me if the coffee of our town is known in your area. What are your personal and business relations here. Do you buy directily’.

Your answer will be of great value for me.

Best regards to your wife Mrs. Julie and Soren [name removed]

PS Excuse the Poor English”

and the second from a gentleman (from Iowa) that found our website googling “Marcala” — He ordered a pound of our coffee!!!

“When I googled “Marcala coffee,” your Web site was the eleventh one listed. I once lived a little east of you in Philipsburg, PA and later in Lewisburg and my wife’s home is in Clearfield County so I was pretty sure I could have confidence in you. As to why I care about Marcala coffee, the short version is that last January I visited an acquaintance there who is the general manager of a coffee co-op. Marcala is located in a particularly beautiful part of Honduras that produces terrific coffee.”

Well, just thought you would take interest in these nice emails.
